Fronted by singer-songwriter AJ Potter, the group blends elements of blues, folk, country, and bluegrass. Named after The Station East, a pub and creative hub in Gateshead where they found their original rehearsal space, the band also features Ant on percussion, James on bass, Mellowz Demoz on keys, Mick on mandolin/lead guitar, and Darren on lead guitar. AJ Potter’s songwriting leans into honest, personal reflection, drawing lyrical inspiration from real life experiences – including childhood, parenthood, construction site work, addiction and sobriety.
