We’re thrilled to welcome The Busk Rats, the first act to grace the main stage on Saturday 18th at this year’s festival! The Busk Rats, comprising Clare, Richard, and Andy, are a local trio hailing from nearby Garrigill and Weardale. As a band playing with just two string instruments and a Cajon drum, they gleefully bang out rock, soul, reggae, and disco into the night, anywhere they can! And why should tunes from Slade, Thin Lizzy, Kings of Leon, Erasure, and even Tom Jones stop them? Totally in their own zone, The Busk Rats are doing things their way and loving every minute, delivering songs you’ll know and love!
