Where is Alston Live?
Alston Live Festival is held at: Tyne Willows Playing Field, Station Road, Alston, CA9 3HZ. Alston is a picturesque market town filled with cafes, shops, and pubs – only a few minutes walk from the festival site.
By Car
By road, Alston can be reached from the M6 at Penrith via the A686, then over Hartside Pass where there are magnificent views across the Solway Firth to Scotland, and The Lake District. From Carlisle or Newcastle take the A69 and then the A689. From Scotch Corner on the A1M, the route to Alston is via Barnard Castle and the B6277, passing through beautiful Upper Teesdale.
